Glasgow North East Strategic Youth Alliance (GNESYA)

What are we?

We’re an alliance of local youth work providers who collaborate to support the development of services for young people in North East Glasgow

Who’s involved?

Pretty much everyone interested in collaboration for the sake of young people in North East Glasgow

What’s involved?

The North East of Glasgow is a large area, and it’s important that we involve all the providers of youth work services, so we meet in ‘hubcaps’ (community action partnerships based around the community hub structures of Glasgow Life, with meetings chaired by Glasgow Life staff).

The local ‘hubcaps’ and forthcoming meetings are published in their own pages within this site

At the local meetings providers:

  • Exchange information and practice;
  • Find out about funding opportunities; and, most importantly
  • Develop new partnership operations based on the relationships formed with fellow practitioners

How do I join in?

Email one of the contacts above and ask about the next meeting..

How else can I gain from the Alliance?

There’s an email distribution list which is available to all staff and volunteers. It’s closed, and the way it works is that if you’re on the list you can send to it and you get everything everyone sends to it, and if you’re not on the list you’ll not be able to send to it (to avoid spam). To get on the list, email and ask..
